Flowering gums are back in the nursery this week with the stunning grafted Corymbia 'Summer Beauty' now in stock. This robust hybrid grows to 5m tall and features large pink flowers followed by decorative gum nuts. Very hardy in local conditions on grafted rootstock. #nativeplants #summer #inthenursery

Russian sage (Perovskia atriplicifolia / Salvia yangii) currently flowering in the nursery. This a great option to plant alongside other colourful perennials like Achilleas. #inthenursery #summer #perennials

We have new stock of Grevillea bipinnatifida 'Jingle Bells' (grafted) in stock this week - a stunning form of this species with attractive divided foliage and showy flowers. In the nursery (and flowering!) | ‘Wendy Sunshine’ is a low growing hybrid grevillea which features sprays of beautiful red flowers spreading out from the plant on long stems. The grey-green foliage is also attractive. Grafted plants are hardy on the east coast and develop into stunning rockery features with continuous flowering throughout most of the year. New grevilleas in stock this week include two beautiful new hybrids - 'Raspberry Dream' and 'Cupid's Dream'.
'Raspberry Dream' is compact/bushy shrub featuring vivid pink/ red flowers throughout the year (plants are currently flowering in the nursery!)
'Cupid's Dream' also blooms throughout the year with cylindrical sprays of delicate pink flowers.

New grafted Grevilleas in stock this week include the stunning Grevillea plurijuga 'Purple Haze' which features purple/red flowers on spikes which emerge around the perimeter of the plant. The fine, divided foliage is also a feature with red/brown tones prominent on new growth. Agapanthus 'Blue Thunder' flowering in the nursery. We currently have a range of beautiful modern hybrid Agapanthus in stock - including 'Bingo Blue' and the purple striped 'Buccaneer'. These hybrids feature compact habits (60-80cm tall including stems), richly coloured flowers and long flowering periods - with many forms blooming repeatedly throughout the year. They also don't self-seed in the same way traditional Agapanthus do. #inthenursery #agapanthus #summer
