We still have a couple of Grevillea synapheae available this week in the nursery with plants full of buds (or already starting to flower).
So if you're after some extra winter flowering for your native garden maybe drop in this week as we are closed from Monday for a short break. We're open this week as usual - 9am to 2pm - Thurs, Fri, Sat + Sun - then we're shut until Thursday, Aug 13.

Saturday July 18th
We have new stock of the beautiful Micromyrtus 'Wartook Wonder' in the nursery this weekend - all plants are covered in pink buds that are starting to open to white flowers.
Micromyrtus ciliata (fringed heath-myrtle) is one of our favourite small native shrubs with colourful buds and flowers plus a graceful low semi-weeping habit. From late winter into spring it is covered in white/pink flowers which turn to red over time providing an extended colourful display in the garden right through to early summer. We currently have both 'Wartook Wonder' and 'Spring Drifter' forms in stock.
We're open Saturday + Sunday, 9am - 2pm, in Tilba Tilba, NSW this weekend if you are looking for some delicate native colour for the garden this winter.

Winter flowering grevilleas are looking great in the garden this week with the ever popular 'Dorothy Gordon' and the newer 'Cupid's Dream' hybrids in full flower.
We have both of these beautiful grevilleas in stock this week - with some of the 'Dorothy Gordons' starting to set buds (although there's only a couple left now heading into Friday!)

We've had a lot of requests for tangerine coloured kangaroo paws recently and this week they are back in stock! We had good numbers of Anigozanthos ‘Landscape Tangerine’ - a hardy, large growing form with beautiful flowers on tall stems - arrive this morning with most plants already in bud.
We also have the very floriferous Grevillea 'Raspberry Dream' back in stock (most plants are already flowering) plus the outstanding 'Wartook Wonder' form of Micromyrtus ciliata which features pinker buds than most other forms (plants are covered in buds and already starting to flower!)

We have the beautiful Grevillea synapheae available this week in the nursery with plants full of buds (or already starting to flower).
G. synapheae (catkin grevillea) is a beautiful WA species which features masses of creamy flowers from mid-winter to mid-spring. Low growing forms in particular are a great option for rockeries and raised beds where they can be easily shaped into attractive mounding shrubs. Can do really well in local conditions in a full-sun spot with an appropriate native soil mix - image here is a garden plants flowering in August near Corunna, NSW.

Snow Pear (Pyrus nivalis) is a very ornamental deciduous tree with attractive silver-grey foliage which turns orange/red in autumn - plus white flowers in spring. Does well in local conditions with some beautiful plants growing well in Tilba Tilba gardens.
We received six semi-advanced snow pears into stock this week (potted not bare-root) but four have already sold. So if you'd like one (or both) of the two remaining trees drop in this weekend and grab them.
